Originally from Southern California, Dawn Pendleton is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned a BS in Behavioral Science, in 1991. After relocating to Louisville, she obtained an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1998. For over 16 years, she has acquired experience and knowledge through her work as a therapist in numerous areas: rape crisis program, residential treatment, foster care services and a mental health clinic housed in a full-service hospital, and mentoring. She has served the membership of the Kentucky Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (KAMFT) in many roles and is currently the KAMFT Board of Directors Secretary.
An avid distance runner, Dawn has completed 5 marathons and countless half marathons, 10 mile, 10K, and shorter distance races. While most recently involved in trail running, she is currently training for her next triathlon.
